The San Diego Zoo is huge and they have all the big name animals. We spent a very full day there and were pretty tired from all the walking afterwards. Some people explore mainly by tourbus, but we walked it except for one tram ride.
I guess this is what we look like on display to the animals.
The zoo is so big and hilly so there is a sky tram to get from one end to the other. This was most popular with Andrew and Matthew.
Their pandas, including a new baby, are star attractions. The kids were enthralled with them, but mostly because of a Curious George episode where George watches the pandas on the Pandacam. This zoo also has a Pandacam on their website.
Another favorite, other than the flamingos of course, was the meerkats.
In the Children's Zoo area there were lots of fun interactive displays.
